Jody Ball is founder and owner of Ball
Investigations in Austin, Texas. Ball
Investigations was established in 1988. For the past five years, Jody
and his sister, Stacey Ball have successfully managed the company and worked
together on investigations. They have worked cases in the British Indies,
London, England, and as far away as Saipan, as well as investigations in
the local area and in most states in the United States. Jody and Stacey
appeared in the television series, "Case Closed."
Mr. Ball's background is in law enforcement in the city of Austin and
in William County, Texas. The author attended the University of Texas and
Southwest Texas State University. Jody has spoken to law students and been
the key speaker at investigation seminars in Texas and Florida. Jody is
licensed by the Texas Law Enforcement Commission and the Texas Board Of
Private Investigators and holds a license for continuing education. He has
been called to testify as an "expert witness" in the fields of
loss prevention and security, worker's compensation, arson, and criminal
investigative techniques. Mr. Ball has extensive experience as a court appointed
investigator in numerous state and federal cases. He has appeared on the
television program 20/20 and has been interviewed on local news programs.
