One of the great pleasures I have had in my career is having the opportunity
to get to know some of the greatest private investigators of our times.
When it comes to King of surveillance as it relates to insurance fraud investigation,
the man of this century is Bill Kirorek.
Mr. Kizorek's corporate office is in Naperville Illinois but his enterprise
is truly national in scope. His internationally known company, InPhoto Surveillance,
owns specially equipped surveillance vans that can reach any major city
in the United States within hours. They are all over the country. His investigators
go through intensive training.
If I was a little younger and wanted to obtain expertize in surveillance
of worker's compensation fraud, I'd want to work for Bill Kizorek. (Actually
it's not a bad idea to see if they are hiring) InPhoto has the best equipment.
Not only are the surveillance vans all decked out, the home office is buzzing
with high tech computer technology (Apple Of Course) and Inphoto has the
ability to digitize surveillance footage, enhance frames and imbed frames
into surveillance reports. Individual investigators for Inphoto always have
the best van, best cameras, best lenses, best word processing equipment,
best computer programs and best training. There isn't any doubt about it.
If I wanted to work in surveillance claims investigation, I'd want to be
with the best and the best is InPhoto.
Mr. Kizorek himself is known not nationally but internationally by the insurance
industry as one of the world's leading authorities on the subject of insurance
fraud and video surveillance. He's an extremely popular speaker as SIU groups
within the insurance industry. That is, if the group is lucky enough to
get Bill booked. He's just a busy man.
The top flight investigator is a dedicated individual and has helped hundreds
of investigators learn the ropes of proper surveillance and surveillance
equipment. He's also author of the following books which are some of the
most popular insurance fraud investigation books in the world:
DISABILITY OR DECEPTION
CLAIMS DETECTIVE
SPECIAL INVESTIGATION UNIT
PSYCHOLOGICAL CLAIMS INVESTIGATION
The InPhoto Surveillance Library can be purchased through NAIS. Just click
on the books you wish to review.
He also writes a popular column in PI Magazine revealing in-the-field and
business techniques he has developed over the years. If you have read them,
you'll learn that a large surveillance company such as InPhoto Surveillance
has special problems it has to overcome to compete in the market place.
When you have the best training, top flight equipment and latest technology,
you drive up overhead and just can not compete with one man operations that
are often A/K/Aed in their business name with CHEAP DETECTIVE AGENCY. But
InPhoto has held firm to it's quality standards. Mr. Kizorek himself has
admitted that he has lost clients to the here today-gone tomorrow operator
who's always willing to offer cut-rate pricing but, in the end, most insurance
companies realize you get what you pay for. Most of those clients eventually
come back to InPhoto.
Bill Kizorek is one of the most visible spokesmen for the claims investigative
industry and has been interviewed by numerous national TV programs, including
Inside Edition, ABC's 20/20, Hard Copy, and
NBC News.
Mr. Kizorek has placed some of his articles on the net. Below is Kizorek's
Red Flags For Worker's Compensation Insurance Fraud
Some personal injury claims just scream out "Bogus, Fraud, Lies, Malingering."
InPhoto once took in a case where a man had not actively worked for ten
years because of a fractured,
non-dominant thumb.
Here are 13 flags which, if present in multiples, may indicate a claim situation
begging for closer scrutiny.

NAIS was lucky enough to get Mr. Kizorek to speak at an NAIS convention
that was held in Florida a few years ago. Those who missed his presentation
which one an award titled HOW TO STAY OUT OF TROUBLE ON A SURVEILLANCE is
encouraged to read his books. He's a very busy person and it might be awhile
before NAIS will be able to get Mr. Kizorek back as a featured convention
speaker.
In 1995 Mr. Kizorek was issued the first NAIS Expert Certification in Insurance
Surveillance.
So NAIS Certified Certificate Number One For Insurance Surveillance goes
to the number one expert on the subject in the world.
I have to admit that I have become a big Bill Kizorek and InPhoto Surveillance
fan. I devower his books when they come out and I'm always excited about
them. His colum in PI Magazine is usually the first one I read. If you haven't
had the opportunity to subscribe to P.I. Magazine so you can pick up the
knowledge found in Bill's words of wisdom on surveillance, click here for
more information and you will go to PI Magazine's Home Page.
