INVESTIGATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD 1997
KELLY RIDDLE
Each year, an NAIS investigator of the year award is presented to a private
investigator for his contributions to the private investigative industry.
The 1997 Investigator of The Year Award goes to Kelly Riddle. Mr. Riddle
is owner of Kelmar And Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He's become an
extremely popular speaker at various investigative seminars and conferences
in the United States.
Mr. Riddle comes from a police and law enforcement background and has a
long history of providing top rated investigative services as a Texas licensed
private investigative agency with his home base in San Antonio. A popular
private investigator with the news media, Mr. Riddle has had many media
exposures in the national press as well as local and regional coverage of
him in Central Texas. Mr. Riddle has appeared in many newspapers, television
and radio talk shows and is a popular article writer for many private investigative
association newsletters.
Graduating from the University Of North Alabama with a B.S. degree in Criminal
Justice, Mr. Riddle served with two police departments in Alabama before
entering private practice. During his career in law enforcement, he gained
extensive experience as a training officer, SWAT team member, evidence technician,
photography technician, motorcycle officer, arson investigator, juvenile
specialist, breath analyzer technician and PEI operator. Kelmar And Associates
was founded in 1989 in San Antonio Texas. Prior to opening his own firm,
Mr. Riddle worked for two insurance companies as an adjuster and investigator.
Mr. Riddle is author of The Art Of Surveillance, Find Out Fast, the Instant Guide To Private Investigation both recently published by Thomas Investigative Publications, Inc. and To Serve And Protect: The True Story self published by Mr. Riddle which is a true story about adversity in his life and police corruption while he was a police officer. The Art Of Surveillance has been awarded investigative book of the year on surveillance techniques by the National Association Of Investigative Specialists.
Mr. Riddle's agency work is well known throughout Texas and the United States with his own brand of excellence on it. Originally specializing in insurance fraud and worker's compensation cases, Mr. Riddle has developed expertise in health care fraud investigations, countermeasures and TSCM services, investigation of nursing homes and pre-trail/legal investigations as well as investigations for corporate America.
Kelly Riddle is also founder and President of
The Association Of Christian Investigators which is a specialized association
meeting the needs of private investigators whose life is Christian centered.
ACI was awarded investigative association of the year by NAIS in 1996.
From the mark of excellence in his investigations to his published articles
and books and from his seminars at investigative conventions to his creation
of ACI, the private investigative profession as a whole is benefiting greatly
as the result of the efforts and activities of Mr. Riddle.
