Miniature Channel Master Tape Recorder, circa 1950s-60s

Miniature Channel Master Tape Recorder, circa 1950s-60s
The Miniature Channel Master Tape Recorder was a highly superior recorder
that required it's own tape cassettes made by the company. The recorder
had a speed control which could slow the winding of the tape down to turn
it into a long play recorder. It could operate off of battery power and
had an extra mic jack which meant that it could be used with a telephone
suction-cup recorder to record both sides of a telephone conversation.
It's all metal construction is something you don't see any more. The unit
measured 6 1/4 X 3 1/2 X 1 1/4 inches deep. It was a miniature recorder
for it's time.
