$20,000 Pinkerton Reward Poster, Charlie
Ross, Germantown, Pa. 1874

Pinkerton's poster failed to help find poor little Charlie Ross,
abducted in Germantown, Pa., on July 1, 1874. The missing child
was never heard from again and never found. This is possibly one
of the posters distributed to merchants in the area at that time.
By today's standards, $20,000 would be millions of dollars. The
poster measures 2 1/2" long by about 6" wide. Below are
close ups of the poster.
