Very Early Antique Movie Camera,
1890's
This very early movie camera is from the 1890's. Motion picture cameras
themselves were very new and experminintal.One would turn a crank on the
side of the camera that made the film run through the exposure lens. As
a private detective, if you can one of these you were really state-of-the-art.
As you can see from the inside, that basic design was used even when things
moved from film to video, until the evolution of digital camcorders.
